Alexandre Delasalle's Arrangements series consists of a collection of unique aluminium sculptures conceived as polished, lush floral compositions. A form of delusional optimism runs through these still lifes, set against the restraint of anodised aluminium structures and their minimal, industrial logic.

The Arrangements extend Delasalle's ongoing Plush Garden series, dedicated to the aesthetics of cuteness applied to plants. Through his distinctive visual language, Delasalle creates floral compositions as permanent, serialised, manufactured objects. He replaces the skill set traditionally associated with floristry with that of an amateur character designer.

Alexandre Delasalle (b. 1996) creates objects and installations that engage with imagery of nature and flora, notions of cuteness, and the visual codes of vernacular pop' aesthetics. Through visual mimicry, his work reflects on and questions contemporary aesthetic standards.
